Welcome to the S³ Pacific Music Awards website!

The S³ Pacific Music Awards were held on Saturday 23 May 2009, at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau City. The awards are a true celebration of Pacific music and included live performances, alongside the presentation of 10 awards. The sold out TelstraClear Pacific venue was bursting at the seams at the S³ Pacific Music Awards. The night was full of laughter, joy and great performances! There was a genuine feeling of ‘family’ throughout the night with Ladi 6’s parents accepting an award on her behalf and her cousin Scribe waiting in the wings ready to bring the house down with Dirty Records! The Dawn Raid family celebrated the success of two of their sons Savage and Devolo. The magic continued with Che Fu doing a special performance for his father the legendary Tigi Ness, topped off with the Nesian Mystik family walking away with four awards on the night. The final performance brought together Cydel brothers Pele and Dee ending the night with Nesian Mystik and Che Fu with their first live performance of their song “Mr.Mista”. Pacific music is all about sharing and family and on the night there was no exception with our Pacific family sharing our words, our voices, our songs!!
